The second version of my 50mm lens is much neater and much easier to photograph. This one's made of a 50mm Nikon enlarger lens, a rubber pipe coupling that I've absolutely butchered, a rubber band, and a body cap. This lens actually fits in my camera bag so its far easier to carry than the first version but it's a little harder to shoot with and isn't as good at shifting. The sacrifice in shift is worth the portability to me, though, because I don't take many photos of architecture which is where shifting is typically used and I can't secure the lens in any way so I can't simulate a larger sensor.

Photo examples!

This is the custom tilt shift that's usually in my bag and I enjoy shooting with it. The color reproduction is slightly better than my old k mount and I've noticed that its generally a little sharper with less chromatic aberration.
